Whirling around my brain at the moment are some awesome things!
The Writer’s Games start on Saturday! (Well, it starts at midnight on Friday GMT, which means for my Japan Standard Time zone it starts at 9:00am). However, I’ll be on Twitch and streaming at 8:30am, using those early minutes to talk about the Games, what I’m doing, and probably hoping I do or don’t get a specific type of prompt. I’m looking forward to these five events so much! I did the Games back in… 2017? 2018? (a few years ago) and I learnt so much from the feedback – and at the same time that I was having a ball with the prompts.
I’ve got plans down for Preptober, and I’ll be working on collecting the Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, and blog information together. While tweets and posts are a bit easier I still need to set them all up to be tweeted/posted, and that leaves the blog for Tips & Tricks. Twitch is somehow easy and hard all at once, staying on topic while chatting with friends and fellow writers. However, I’m hoping to get a great community together for NaNoWriMo 2020 and make even more international writer friends.
The blog seems to be coming along much nicer than before (some posts are better than no posts after all), but there are still a few days that are harder than others; Tuesday and Friday namely. I’m not sure what I’d like to do for Tuesday outside of Preptober, but I’m sure that’ll come to me.
Finally, last but not least, I’m going to be delving deep into Amazon to set up everything there. Love Me Like a Villain will be published this September, I’m not willing to let it wait another month (remember, I wanted this out in July but have found interesting ideas to add, things to fix, and details that I believe make the world better). I need to make sure that I’m not trying to make this perfect before I let it go – but I will say that this is going to be a terrifying step off of the plank. This picture of my optimistic sunshine Lance was drawn by Clari, who is currently open for commissions!
It’s going to be a jam-packed month (heck, a jam-packed end of the year), but it’s going to be worth it. I hope you’ll join me, and if you’re a writer as well (or even someone interested in how a writer, this writer, works), I hope you’ll learn with me!
